“Nature abhors a vacuum” – Aristotle, 384-322 BCE

Aristotle, the ancient Greek Philosopher is considered to be the “Father of Western Philosophy.”  His views on analytics have formed the tenets for the methods of logical arguments.  It is these methods for logical arguments that, in journalism have most benefited investigative reporting.   Motivated by Aristotle,  Xplicit News’ mission is to investigate news stories, important events, find the facts and present them in a fashion that will allow you to see through the smoke and mirrors or look behind the curtain.

To accomplish this goal, our plan has always been to avoid internet style advertising which includes pop-up ads and other forms of advertising that frustrate readers and make articles hard to read.  We do not make filling out forms a requirement for access to our information, use of our research library or charge for downloading documents.  Additionally, we allow for the re-posting of our articles by anyone with the provision that the articles are unedited.

Aristotle once said “Nature abhors a vacuum.”  Prior to Xplicit News, the news media and the internet had a very specific information vacuum.  We are working very hard to keep filling that vacuum and you can help by linking us to your social media pages and encouraging people to visit us.  We have started an Xplicit News GoFundMe page (https://www.gofundme.com/xplicit-news) to raise a small amount of money.  The funds raised will allow us to upgrade to a better internet platform, pay fees for photos, graphics, better site maintenance, a small part-time staff which includes a paid-student internship program, and legal fees for nonprofit status.  Xplicit News is not an IRS designated 501-(c)-3 not-for-profit.   But with your help, one day, that will be possible.  We have only been in existence for 4 months and judging from your comments, we are a success.  We are here to provide a service, not to make money and we would appreciate your help.
