Glen Reaux, the publisher of Xplicit News is an award winning television journalist, producer, documentary film maker and publicist.  Since 1998 he has won nearly a dozen awards for producing news magazines, documentary films and television commercials.  A 1974 graduate of Texas Southern University, Mr Reaux founded Minority Enterprise Television Productions (METV), a not-for-profit documentary film and television production company.  Under the METV banner, Mr. Reaux produced and won film festival awards for The Legacy of A Freed Slave, Revelations Blacks In Medicine, Revelations Hispanics in Medicine and Minority Enterprise Magazine (news magazine featuring minority and women businesses).

Mr. Reaux is a semi-retired, successful entrepreneur and business owner.  In the 80s he founded Simplx Marketing Corporation, an insurance loss replacement and claims management firm.  The award winning documentary film company METV successfully provided television programming for more than 23 years.  In 2013, Mr. Reaux co-founded LiveWell Insurance Products, Inc.  Motivated by the healthcare debate, Mr. Reaux invented a patent pending financial service business method designed to supplement health insurance plans by providing disruptive funding sources for the payment of out-of-pocket expenses such as co-pays and deductibles.  This MRSA (medical rebate savings account) is provided to health insurance companies who in turn provide it to their members as a no-cost rider.  LiveWell Insurance Products, Inc. is the exclusive distributor of this product.  Mr. Reaux currently serves as Chairman and CEO of LiveWell.

During the 2010 mid-term elections,  Mr. Reaux began to notice how divisive, racially charged and dishonest political discourse was becoming.  Over the next six years, he began to formulate ideas which would lead to the founding of Xplicit News as a means of offering a factual look behind the curtain of money and politics.  His vision of Xplicit News became one of a revolutionary media source that not only reports the news but one who’s mandate is also to serve as an archive and research source of official documents and government policy.  A research source that will help citizens make informed decisions that positively impact the politics of our great nation and the future of generations to come.
