Read Ukraine Transcript: Trump and Ukrainian President Conspire Against Biden

In possibly the most fantastic lie in the history of this country, reminiscent of Trump’s July 2018 lie told at the Veterans of Foreign Wars convention; “What you’re seeing and what you’re reading is not what’s happening” so-called President Donald J. Trump shouted his usual “witch hunt” mantra while lying to the press about his conversation with the President of Ukraine. Obviously, Trump still believes that the American people are incredibly stupid or perhaps they are a “basket of deplorables” much like his Republican minions and members of his administration. On Tuesday, September 24^th, Trump told the world in a tweet that an unredacted transcript of his telephone conversation with the Ukrainian President would be released. This article, “Read Ukraine Transcript: Trump and Ukrainian President Conspire Against Biden” explains the national security threat of Trump’s actions and provides the actual transcript memorandum released by the White House.

On Wednesday, September 25^th, contrary to his promise, Trump did not release the transcript. Instead, he released a memorandum which is a highly edited and censored summary of the actual transcript. In a press conference at the United Nations (UN) following the release of the memo, Trump stated “It was a friendly letter, there was no pressure. The way you had that built up that call was going to be the call from hell. It turned out to be a nothing call.”

Trump did not touch on the fact that when Volodymyr Zelenskyy, President of Ukraine stated to Trump during the telephone conversation; “… we are almost ready to buy more Javelins from the United States for defense purposes.” To which Trump without acknowledging Zelenskyy’s comment on purchasing more weapons or agreeing to the purchase, Trump replied: “I would like you to do us a favor though because our country has been through a lot and Ukraine knows a lot about it.” This segment of the conversation amounts to a quid pro quo which is a favor or advantage granted or expected in return for something. That advantage for Ukraine is the more purchases of the Javelin missile system which would be made possible once Ukranian defense funds appropriated by Congress and in the budget were to be released. Just a few days prior to this July 25^th phone call, Trump ordered a freeze on $400 million of defense funding meant for Ukraine. The advantage for Trump would be dirt on Joe Biden which Trump was trying to coerce the Ukrainian President into provide. Biden is currently Trump’s biggest threat to re-election. By definition, what Trump did was extortion.

extortion: obtaining a benefit or gaining of property or money by almost any kind of force or threat of violence, property damage, harm to reputation, or unfavorable government action.

In return for the $400 million in Ukrainian defense funding, Trump asked 2 favors (advantages) of the Ukrainian President. Here are the direct quotes from the doctored transcripts released by Trump:

“I would like you to find out what happened with this whole situation with Ukraine, they say Crowdstrike. .. I guess you have one of your wealthy people… The server, they say Ukraine has it There are a lot of things that went on, the whole situation ..” (Crowdstrike is a cybersecurity firm that worked for the Clinton campaign during the 2016 election)
Giuliani is a highly respected man. He was the mayor of New York City, a great mayor, and I would like him to call you. I will ask him to call you along with the Attorney General. Rudy very much knows what’s happening and he is a very capable guy. If you could speak to him that would be great. The former ambassador from the United States, the woman, was bad news and the people she was dealing with in the Ukraine were bad news so I just want to let you know that. The other thing, There’s a lot of talk about Biden’s son, that Biden stopped the prosecution and a lot of people want to find out about that so whatever you can do with the Attorney General would be great. Biden went around bragging that he stopped the prosecution so if you can look into it … It sounds horrible to me.”

This was a remarkably criminal conversation on the part of an American President. Possible crimes committed by Trump are, bribery, extortion of a foreign leader, the solicitation of help from a foreign power to interfere in the 2020 election, asking a foreign government to invent a crime against a political foe, conspiracy to violate campaign finance laws employing Rudy Giuliani and the Attorney General of the United States as co-conspirators in a scheme to gain a political contribution from a foreign power and abuse of power. All of these crimes fall under the heading of “high crimes and misdemeanors” and are impeachable offenses. What is even more incredible is the fact that, Ukrainian President Zelenskyy agreed to do it. The following is an excerpt from the memo released by the White House:

“I wanted to tell you about the prosecutor. First of all I understand and I’m knowledgeable about the situation. Since we have won· the absolute majority in our Parliament; the next prosecutor general will be 100% my person, my candidate, who will be approved, by the parliament and will start as a new prosecutor in September. He or she will look into the situation, specifically to the company that you mentioned in this issue. The issue of the investigation of the case is actually the issue of making sure to restore the honesty so we will take care of that and will work on the investigation of the case. On top of that, I would kindly ask you if you have any additional information that you can provide to us, it would be very helpful for the investigation to make sure that we administer justice for our country with regard to the Ambassador to the United States from Ukraine as far as I recall her name was Ivanovich. It was great that you were the first one who told me that she was a bad ambassador because I agree with you 100%. Her attitude towards me was far from the best as she admired the previous President and she was on his side. She would not accept me as a new President well enough.”

In support of so-called President Trump, Republican Senator Lindsey Graham codified the long-standing Republican philosophy of forsaking the American people by placing party over country. Since the onset of the Trump administration, the Republican position has been; no lie is too big to cover up, no act is too unethical for the party to be complicit in Trump’s dishonesty and the party will “ride or die” with Trump despite any crime that he has or will commit.

In a statement to the press, Graham supported Trump’s actions with the Ukrainian President and did not find anything wrong with Trump’s actions. Graham suggested that corruption on the part of Biden’s son, Hunter while serving as a board member and lawyer for a Ukrainian energy needs to be investigated. Graham failed to mention that the Ukrainian company that hired hunter Biden, Burisma was investigated by the Ukrainian Attorney General and was cleared of any corruption or wrongdoings.

On Tuesday, September 24^th, Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi announced that due to the threat to our elections and national security formal impeachment investigations have begun. Since then, the whistleblower has requested to appear before both intelligence committees of Congress and the House has begun to work out the details. By early afternoon, Wednesday, September 25^th, the official whistleblower complaint was delivered to the House Select Committee on Intelligence. The committee along with Speaker Pelosi immediately went into session to review the documents. Around 3:00 that afternoon, Rep. Adam Schiff (D-CA), Chairman of the House Intelligence Committee, spoke on the House Floor in support of a resolution condemning the Trump Administration’s unlawful withholding of the whistleblower complaint.

After review of the whistleblower complaint, Democrats began discussions on calling Attorney General William Barr to testify before Congress. Democrats are very concerned that the Justice Department may be attempting to intimidate the whistleblower. The Justice Department has ruled that the whistleblower is not protected under the Whistleblower Protection Act of 1989. This action is the first time that the Justice Department has made such a ruling. Also, under the “black letter law” the Justice Department has no jurisdiction to rule on the issue. Of further concern is the fact that Trump mentioned Barr in his conversation with the Ukrainian President as someone to work with on investigating Biden and his son. In essence, the Barr-Trump relationship has evolved into one of Godfather and consigliere with Trump (acting as the Godfather) making Ukrainian President Zelenskyy “an offer he can’t refuse!” And, based upon the transcript, like Tom Hagen, Don Corleone’s consigliere in “The Godfather”, Attorney General Bill Barr will be handling all of the illegal paperwork.

In two prior articles published by Xplicit News, more information is provided about the series of events that have led to the current state of this development. In the first article^{1} published on September 22nd, details surrounding the whistleblower complaint and the refusal by the Director of National Intelligence to obey the law and forward it to Congress are provided along with supporting documentation which includes the first letter from the Intelligence Community Inspector General to Congress explaining the severity of the situation. The Second Article^{2} which was published on September 23rd, explains the threat to national security and to the 2020 national election. Documents include the second letter from the Inspector General to Congress explaining that the Director on National Intelligence was not turning over the whistleblower complaint as mandated by law. Inspector General Atkinson did not agree with the decision made by DNI Maguire.

On Thursday, September 26^th, the Director of National Intelligence, Joseph Maguire is scheduled to testify to the House Select Committee on Intelligence in a public hearing where he is expected to explain why he chose to disobey the law. Also, the Committee is hoping to have a hearing with the whistleblower after the McGuire hearing and within the next few weeks, expect to see consigliere Barr attempt a repeat performance of his infamous Mueller Report debacle.
